Carpe Noctem is a tribute to seizing each and every night. Using that time to gain whatever it is you seek. For some, nights are for rest, but for many its time spent in practice, learning, developing, and working. The overwhelming majority of this Blackletter II collection was created during the night and so "carpe noctem" became the perfect mantra to see this project through.

This font is part of the collection by Justified Ink, called Blackletter II. After 15+ years creating, I began to focus on building personal libraries of my work. The Blackletter II Collection was created through writing page after page, and countless hours over a 2 year span of daily practice. Each font from this collection has been hand drawn, manually vectored, and custom set as a type-able font. It comes in a full set of 26 char alpha. Each font family has variations in styles and/or non-alpha chars.
